Dr Wagdy Sobeih PhD - Managing Director
Dr Sobeih has over 25 years experience in plant photobiology, crop water relations, novel irrigation techniques and their application in international horticulture.
He brings to LIGHTWORKS a range of experience in fundamental scientific research from British Universities (Nottingham and Lancaster), the application of novel technologies in sustainable crop production with growers worldwide and over 15 years of experience in horticultural consultancy.
He’s never happier than when he’s spending time with growers understanding their problems and formulating solutions.

Dr Jason Moore PhD - Director of Research & Product Development
Jason is our Director of Research and Product Development. He spends his time working through our supply chain to understand the current and future needs of our customers and the industry as a whole. He then translates those needs via the development of revolutionary new products with our research partners at Lancaster University and around the world.
We believe the technological roadmap he’s planned out for our global horticultural films business over the next 5-7 years will revolutionize the industry.

Ms Seda Keskin (B.Sc AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING) - Director of Operations
Seda Keskin is the Director of Operations responsible for managing the manufacture of our products to the very highest standards. She is directing the business from our regional headquarters in Turkey, promoting and marketing LIGHTWORKS products and services and overseeing our international business operations. Seda has developed a real interest in our grower led trials and responsible for their management, sharing our passion for light and photobiology.

Mr El-Sayed (MBA) - Head of Business Development for the Middle-East & Gulf Region
Mr El-Sayed Yakout has acted as Financial Director various multinationals both in Egypt and the wider Gulf area over the past 35 years. His experience in import / export and contract negotiations in these regions is vast. He now acts as our Head of Business Development across these regions.
